Amanda Campbell
Amanda Campbell is a public health strategist, federal budget expert, and small business owner with extensive experience in healthcare policy, strategic planning, and government operations. She spent the first part of her career in public service, most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff at the CDC, and previously held senior policy and budget roles at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and on Capitol Hill.
Amanda has worked on big challenges, from improving government efficiency to developing legislative strategies in support of critical public health investments. In every role, she’s learned that leadership starts with listening, asking good questions, and bringing people together to find solutions.
Today, Amanda is the Founding Partner of Ascendant Strategic Partners, a consulting firm specializing in government funding, policy strategy, and market growth in the public health and healthcare sectors. Ascendant helps clients, from startups to Fortune 500s, navigate federal and state funding, anticipate policy shifts, and develop strategies to mitigate risk and seize opportunity. The firm doesn’t just advise, it invests, putting its own capital behind promising health sector startups. This dual perspective allows Amanda and her team to offer sharper insights, actionable strategies, and a deep understanding of how policy and business intersect.

Amanda is also a devoted wife and mom to three young boys. She is actively involved in her church’s kids’ ministry and finds joy in giving back to her community. Whether running a business, managing a household, or serving others, Amanda brings energy, experience, and a heart for service.
